Ok y'all, I found something amusing and I just wanted to share it. I came across this the other day thanks to that seed about the politically correct Halloween costumes at those damn Librul Universities. So, I went to take a look at how an Ultra-Con University treats Halloween..... and apart from their "Liberty Way" policies making Halloween one of the most boring things on earth; I came across this gem.
What lies before you is Scaremare, and according to their website on Liberty's domain:
Scaremare presents fun-house rooms and scenes of death in order to confront people with the question, "What happens after I die?"
Groups of people experience a 40-minute journey, passing through creepy trails, dark woods and eventually entering the House. At the end of the experience, visitors are presented with an answer to this question and are given the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Approximately 26,000 people have made decisions for Christ over the past two decades. Ironically, this House of Death points to the Way of Life!
The "about" section contains testimonials and philosophy as well! Apparently it's an evangelical project with the purpose of converting people by scaring the crap out of them. I know, I know - that is what religion is all about; but this seems rather blatant.. doesn't it? I was under the impression that it was supposed to be a bit more subtle than that.
